Becoming an Ambuc

Want to make a difference in your community and help improve the lives of people with disabilities?  Interested in being a part of the "Fun Way to Serve"?  Well, you can do all that and more by becoming a member of AMBUCS! 

The first step is to check to see if there is an established AMBUCS chapter in your area.  A list of all chapters is available in the Chapter Directory.  Feel free to contact any of the listed officers who would be happy to tell you how to become a part of their chapter.


You can also join AMBUCS as a Friends member!  By just making a $25 annual tax-deductible contribution you will qualify  to receive a year’s subscription to AMBUCS Magazine and the satisfaction of helping to create mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

If you are a students in high school or college you should consider starting a AMBUCS Youth Auxiliary Chapter.  These chapters are designed to allow students to lend a helping hand on various AMBUCS projects as well as design some traditions of their own.
