Meet New Great Plains Region Director Randy Cloud

As a past member of the AMBUCS Investment Committee, Oklahoma City, OK chapter member Randy Cloud is no stranger to providing skilled leadership and sound advice for our organization. During this year’s fall conference he was again asked to lend his expertise when he was named the new Director-Elect for the Great Plains region.

Since joining AMBUCS in 1990, Randy has been a dedicated to helping people with disabilities and has earned respect from his peers for his service to his community. Over the years, he has taken on a number of key roles in the AMBUCS organization, including serving as both president and treasurer of the Edmond, OK AM, Oklahoma City AM and Oklahoma City chapters. He is also a past district governor and a four-time district secretary/treasurer.

His talent and hard work also shows up in his professional life, where he enjoys a successful career as a certified public accountant and an investment advisor.

He is the proud father of two daughters, Keri (30) and Kim (28), and has a joyful two-year-old grandson named Layne. When he’s not busy working to promote AMBUCS, Randy enjoys motorcycling, live theatre, listening to live music, dancing and reading

As the Director-elect for the Great Plains Region, Randy hopes to increase AMBUCS’ visibility and name recognition, while also increasing the number of volunteer members and donations made to the scholarship program.
